Case study · Harrington's Bar & Grill
Moving a San Francisco institution off Squarespace and filling its private event calendar
A beloved bar a few blocks from Moscone Center, with a website that hid its menus in PDFs and its private events three clicks deep. We rebuilt it in custom code and pointed it at the crowds walking past every week.

The starting point
A Squarespace site with menus as PDF downloads, private events buried in the navigation, and no way to tell which inquiries came from the website. Tens of thousands of conference attendees were walking by during Moscone events, and the site was not speaking to any of them.
What we did
- Took over the Squarespace site and rebuilt it in custom code, moving all 205 photos and 34 blog posts without losing a single URL
- Turned the PDF menus into real pages Google can read and phones can load
- Landing pages for every kind of private event: corporate, holiday, birthday, wedding, and conference groups near Moscone
- A conference event calendar and blog content built around the shows coming to Moscone Center
- Event inquiry form with an instant auto-reply, tracked as a conversion
- Lean foot-traffic Google Ads around the venue, and a plain-English report every month
